The organizational culture will present different challenges when implementing the multi-modal strategic interventions to reduce burnout in nurses as the interventions included affect nurses as they need to adopt new strategies (Kuritsyn & Fomichev, 2020); it affects organization as they need to hire more nurses and train nurses by providing resources to manage self, practice effectively, and collaborate with other health care professionals (Montgomery et al., 2021); and it affects administration, nurse leaders, and stakeholders as resistance to may result in barriers in implementing the change. Thus, the strategic plan includes solutions for the issues (Magtibay et al., 2017). 

NRS 493 Strategic Plan Summary

The first step of the strategic plan is to collaborate with the nurses and all the stakeholders to educate about the need for change project through motivation, persuasion, communication, and implementing transformational leadership (Guixia & Hui, 2020). Then convincing the administrators and leaders to increase nurse to patient ratio and adopt a EBP model to assess the problem, solution, and outcome. Then nurses and health care professionals will be trained and educated to effectively use self-efficacy, stress-management strategies (Yao et al., 2018), coping mechanisms, and active mind-fullness (Bruyneel et al, 2021). Further, a dynamic scheduling mechanism will be used to reduce staffing issue and nurses will be educated about the same. After three weeks of training, the program will be implemented and interprofessional collaboration strategies will be used during the process (Wei et al., 2017). The intervention will be implemented for three months only for ED nurses. After the outcome analysis through perspective analysis and through statistical significance, the interventions will be applied at large scale.
