Mental health is a severe health issue in the community that can impact overall wellbeing. It is a vital part of our life, and it can negatively impact ourselves and others. I work at a mental health facility in Minnesota as a registered nurse. Many patients have reported that they have been struggling with mental health since their childhood. Some of these patients are criminals, and they are unsafe for the community. Our community has not done a great job recognizing mental health concerns and treating them appropriately. If mental health has taken care of in the early stage, it could have saved many lives for the community. Community health plan needs to be reviewed to resolve the mental health issues.
I used the Summon research engine to identify academic peer-reviewed journal articles. I used keywords ‘community mental health, common mental health issues, and mental health issues, and I used journal articles published within five years. I used Proquest, NCBI, and EBSCOhost databases to access these articles. Essay NURS FPX 4030 Assessment 2 Determining the Credibility of Evidence and Resources NB

One of the study’s interesting findings was that service users with eating and personality disorders had a similar level of total unmet needs to persons diagnosed with psychotic and affective disorders. The authors suggested improving mental health services to provide adequate care in the article. This article is relevant because it has focused on the positive outcomes of unmet needs.
